‘Sense8’ Season 2 Spoilers, News & Updates: Air Date Pushed To 2017; On Set Photos Reveal More Action And Romance

"Sense8" Season 2 spoilers from set photos hint that there will be a lot of action and romance for the eight Sensates. The Wachowski sisters posted a couple of set photos for the upcoming season on Tumblr.

One of the photos showed the Sensates celebrating what their birthday. As most fans and viewers know, the eight Sensates' birthday is on August 8, the same day that Netflix announced "Sense8" Season 2.

Other photos for "Sense8" Season 2 showed the Sensates having the time of their lives, partying and engaging in snowball fight. There are also hints of romance and tragedy in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Screen Crush reports that the air date for "Sense8" Season 2 may have been pushed to 2017 despite previous speculations that the show will premiere in late 2016. Jamie Clayton recently shared on Twitter that the upcoming season will premiere "around Christmas."

However, Clayton immediately clarified that she was referring to a Christmas special when she tweeted the post. The "Sense8" Season 2 actress later on stated that the rest of the episodes for the upcoming season will air in 2017.

While it remains to be seen whether the above-mentioned photos of the Sensates having a celebration has anything to do with "Sense8" Season 2 Christmas special, the publication notes that Daryl Hannah also posted the same on Instagram last March.
