Queen Elizabeth Criticized Chinese Officials As 'Very Rude'; Conversation With Commander Caught On Cam; China Censored Footage [VIDEO]

In one of Queen Elizabeth's unguarded moments, a BBC cameraman secretly filmed her conversation with Commander Lucy D'Orsi, where the Queen said that Chinese diplomats were "very rude," referring to the officials' behavior during the state visit of Chinese president Xi Jinping to the U.K. The BBC footage was subsequently censored by China.

Prior to the conversation between Queen Elizabeth and D'Orsi, David Cameron was also filmed telling the Queen that Nigeria and Afghanistan were two countries considered to be "fantastically corrupt." The Queen was apparently unaware that her conversation with Commander D'Orsi was being filmed.

Bad Luck

According to Independent, the conversation between the Queen and D'Orsi started when a palace introduced D'Orsi to the Queen as the one assigned as Gold Commander during Chinese premier Xi JinPing's visit. Considering the job as quite unfortunate instead of an honor, the Queen was clearly heard saying "bad luck."

D'Orsi went on saying that the Chinese seriously undermined the police. She also said that Chinese officials just walked out of a meeting with the British ambassador to China, Barbara Woodward, at Lancaster House.

Very Impolite To Ambassador

"They were very rude to the ambassador," the Queen can be heard on the video. Although the conversation was quite clear, the Metropolitan Police refused to comment on a conversation regarded to be as a private one.

Due to the clear reference made by Queen Elizabeth to Chinese officials, China censored the footage in their country, according to Telegraph. News items that show the footage were either replaced with a different one or completely blacked out.

Reports have it that both UK and China have dispelled rumors of any rift between them. The Queen's "very rude" remarks were most likely regarded as trivial so as to create trouble between the two countries.
