Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ 1.2 Patch Release Date, News & Updates: 3 Latest Scoops About Ubisoft’s Latest Video Game

Tom Clancy's "The Division" is currently in the middle of another rough patch but the game's 1.2 update release date reportedly looms. Through Ubisoft's State of the Game Twitch Stream, "The Division" developers tease the possibility of the patch's release date announcement next week.

In addition, Ubisoft also detailed a series of new changes coming in Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update. So, here are 3 latest scoops we've learned about "The Division" upcoming patch.

1. Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 1.2 Update Fixes The Phoenix Credits Cap

One of the major changes in Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update is the Phoenix Credits cap. In "The Division" 1.2 update, players will be allowed to hold 2,000 Phoenix Credits rather than the 1,000 limit that is currently the rule in the game.

2. Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 1.2 Update Next Incursion Mission

The upcoming Incursion mission in Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update is currently titled, "Broken Circle," but it will be renamed in time for the new patch. The next free mission Incursion will reportedly have a suggested Gear Score of only 150 instead of the map in-game's 220.

Unfortunately, Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update will not have any major weapon changes. Instead, it will concentrate on gears and talents, which will have a ripple effect to guns and armor if changed.

Despite no changes in weapons in Tom Clancy's "The Division 1.2 update, Ubisoft has announced that there will be a dedicated update for weapons, which will be released sometime after update 1.2. As reported, the update on weapons will have consequences for all weapons types including SMGs, shotguns, marksman rifles and LMGs.

The goal of the upcoming Tom Clancy's "The Division" weapons update is to encourage players to equip and try out different weapons other than overpowered SMGs and M1A marksman rifle.

3. Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 1.2 Update Additional Changes And Fixes

Aside from the aforementioned details, Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update will also include additional changes and fixes. These include: changes in forced talent with Sentry Gear Set after exploits and fixes in Falcon Lost Incursion's weekly rewards, as well as in Sentry Gear Set that automatically targets players during the Dark Zone.

Brutal talent will be nerfed while balanced talent will allow quick scoping in Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update. Additionally, reckless talent will "work properly" while performance gear mods will be polished.

Others changes in Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update also include an introduction of a Toughness character stat that will combine Health, Armor and Stamina. Armor cap will also increased to 75 percent and the VOIP indicator will now be in the UI.

Meanwhile, the latest Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update details comes a week after it was revealed that the patch will add a new Dark Zone bracket for players with a Gear Score of 200+. The update will also raise more High-End loot drops for players.
