‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ PS4 Release Date, News & Update: 3 New Characters To Be Expected? Game Details To Be Revealed In E3 2016?

Several fans have been waiting for the release of the highly-anticipated "Kingdom Hearts 3" game. Now, new reports are claiming that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not be released this year but Square Enix will be showcasing the game sequel at E3 2016.

Square Enix not releasing 'Kingdom Hearts 3' this year

Despite the clamor that the "Kingdom Hearts 3" game will be released within 2016, it seems like Square Enix is not going to make it available until 2017. Reports about the delayed release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3" have sparked when Square Enix unveiled its line-up for the fiscal year.

Among the games that fans should expect to be released within this fiscal year, which will end at March 31, 2017, include "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue," "World of Final Fantasy," "Rise for the Tomb Raider," "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" and "Final Fantasy XV." Unluckily, both "Final Fantasy 7" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" are not included in the list.

The exclusion of "Kingdom Hearts 3" then sparked reports that saying that the game sequel will be heading to the 2017 release period. However, Square Enix made it clear that the list does not contain the complete lists of game titles that are set to be released within the year.

Details about 'Kingdom Hearts 3" to be released in E3 2016

While there still no confirmation as to when the "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released, recent reports are saying that details about the Square Enix game will be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016.  "Kingdom Hearts Unchained X" producer Hironori Okayama publicized that there is a huge possibility of details reveal in the upcoming event.

Meanwhile, game director Tetsuya Nomura said that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature new three playable characters aside from Sora. Additionally, it has been reported that changes in the gameplay and battle system must be expected in the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" game.
