‘Transformers 5’ Release Date, News & Update: Paramount Pictures Reveal Official Title, Who Is The Last Knight? New Font Hints Spoiler

Paramount Pictures officially announced the title of the fifth installment of "Transformers" film series that will be called "Transformers: The Last Knight." The heading comes with a new font that some said includes little spoilers.

According to Forbes, compared to the previous "Transformers" movie logos, "Transformers: The Last Knight" is a little changed. The earlier titles of "Transformers" are mostly made of toy signs while the new one is metal finished.

However, the new look might be only a brand refresh but, some expect it has a different message. Some are also intrigue who the last knight is. The title, "Transformers: The Last Knight" is placed with a sword in the middle, which Optimus Prime obtained from the alien ship in "Transformers: Age of Extinction."

Hence, it is quite assumed that Optimus Prime is the last knight. However, it has been known that the sword doesn't belong to him and he has never been called with that title.

Moreover, Business Standard News reported that "Transformers" movie give a glimpse of the first "Transformers: The Last Knight" teaser on its Instagram page. The studio shows the initial appearance of Optimus Prime today before revealing the fifth movie's official title.

"Calling all Autobots: Optimus Prime is ready for battle. Are you," the site captioned the short clip. "Transformers: The Dark Knight" director and Mark Wahlberg, too, shared the film's trailer on their respective Twitter accounts.

It's been an amazing journey with 'Transformers'. Ready for another ride, Optimus?" Michael Bay wrote. "This guy is a machine. Optimus Prime just made his first appearance on the 'Transformers'," Mark Wahlberg's tweet read.

Meanwhile, Mark Wahlberg is set to return in "Transformers: The Last Knight" with the addition of Isabela Moner as the female lead and Jerrod Carmichael with an unknown role yet. "Transformers: The Last Knight" production will kick off on June 6 in Detroit and set to visit various places, as per Coming Soon.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" is set to be released on June 23, 2017. The fifth "Transformers" installment is directed by Michael Bay.
