CBS Announced 2016-2017 TV Schedule: 'Supergirl' Moves To CW, New Timeslots, Additional Shows And More

CW 20167-2017 schedule is officially announced at New York City Center at New York City on Thursday. The pronouncement revealed new shows to wait for, moved schedule and time.

"Supergirl" will still have the same timeslot every Monday at 8 p.m. However, "Supergirl" is going to transfer networks from CBS to CW leading "Jane the Virgin," according to Vulture.

Rachel Bloom's "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" will be shuffled to Friday nights following "The Vampire Diaries" at 9 p.m. The move is to help "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" poor ratings as Friday window are known to have lesser ranking demands,

TVLine reported CW also has new programs like "No Tomorrow" after "The Flash" every Tuesday and "Frequency" subsequent to "Arrow" on Wednesdays. "Supernatural" can now be watched on Thursdays behind "Legends of Tomorrow" while "The Originals" is on hold until midseason.

Other programs will be shown in the midseason are "iZombie," "The 100," "Reign" and the new "Riverdale." The CW is the last broadcast network to announce its 2016-2016 TV schedules.

A Promise To Serve Better

Coming Soon cited the remarks of Mark Pedowitz, president of the CW. He praised their four new titles in the series' line-up next season and the five new good anchors that will be seen every 8 p.m. He explained that CW tried hard to be known for having the best and unique TV shows in the world of broadcast networks. 

Mark Pedowitz also boasted that the CW has the most stable TV audience compared to any other broadcast televisions. Hence, he made sure that the TV series that they are going to unveil in the future will surely remain to suit that measure.
