USA Today reports that all seven of the McCaughey septuplets - namely Brandon, Joel, Nathan, Kenny Jr., Natalie, Alexis and Kelsey - have joined the Carlisle High School Class of 2016 in a graduation ceremony at the school's football field. Wearing black and red graduation gowns, the 18-year-old McCaughey septuplets blended with the crowd of fellow students as they marched and received their high school diplomas.

The McCaughey Septuplets' Plans After High School Graduation

The McCaughey septuplets, who were born on Nov. 19, 1997, declined to be interviewed by the media during the high school graduation ceremony. However, in an interview with KCCI Des Moines on their 18th birthday last year, they revealed their plans ahead of their high school graduation.

Brandon McCaughey disclosed that he will be the first to leave home in June as he will be joining the Army. On the other hand, Kenny Jr., who considered Brandon as his closest sibling, planned to establish a career in the construction industry.

Kelsey McCaughey, who is member of the state choir, wanted to pursue a music career while Joel and Nathan aimed to obtain a computer science degree at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Moreover, Natalie and Alexis both expressed their desire of becoming pre-school teachers in the future.

The McCaughey septuplets shared that leaving each other will be very difficult especially that they grew up with a strong bond. "We consider us as best friends, not as brothers and sisters, and I'm really blessed that we've gotten to that point," Alexis expressed.
