'Tekken 7' News & Update: Console Version Available In June With Full VR Support; PS4 Players To Have Rewards?

"Tekken" fans are still waiting for the franchise's seventh installment. "Tekken 7" has been in talks for a while now, unfortunately the title's release date remains in the dark. However, there are chances for the title to arrive soon. According to reports, it is likely for "Tekken 7" to arrive in June and it will be fully supported by PSVR.

'Tekken 7' Will Include PSVR Support

According to Christian Times, "Tekken 7" will arrive soon and will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One platforms. Apart from this, the title is expected to arrive at E3, which will happen next month.

During the Sonny's conference, Bandai Namco confirmed once again that "Tekken 7" is coming to consoles and they teased that there will be an additional treat for PlayStation gamers.

"When the game makes the leap from arcades to console, it will be the most complete and enhanced version up to date," said "Tekken 7" producer Katsuhiro Harada told Destructoid. "We also have special content in the works that's sure to please PlayStation fans"

Per  Christian Today, Bandai Namco has released "Tekken 7" in arcades for a while now. In addition, the title has been playable in different conventions in the United States since April. Thus, "Tekken 7" console version might likely arrive before the year ends.

Sony Consoles Players Will Have Rewards

Yibada reported that there will be presents for "Tekken 7" gamers who will be using Sony consoles. As reported, the upcoming title will be playable with PlayStation Virtual Reality (PSVR), which aims to improve the gameplay.

The report did not reveal the potential treats for the PlayStation "Tekken 7" players. However, Harada already teased that they have a special content for them. Could this be the treat that the report is talking about? Possibly.

Meanwhile, Parent Herald previously reported that Bandai Namco will give fans the most complete and enhanced version of "Tekken 7" when it arrives on the consoles. Initially, the game is expected to arrive at the end of the year, but there are rumors that it might be coming out at the upcoming E3.
