[VIDEO] How Animated Visual Supports Can Make Activities Fun And Exciting For Autistic Children

Being a parent can be both rewarding and stressful, especially if you are dealing with the different emotions that comes with an autism diagnosis such as pain, confusion, fear and anger. Fortunately, Autism Mommas is sharing some positive videos on Facebook that can help parents make fun and exciting activities for their autistic kids, saying children have room to progress and improve regardless of the severity of the autism.

In their YouTube video titled, "How To Make Visual Support Chart (Teaching Ideas For Kids On Autism Spectrum Video 3)," Autism Mommas aimed to inspire parents and caretakers in making interesting and exciting learning activities for autistic children. The publisher also shared some tips on how to make animated visuals by using Visual Aids For Learning.

For Autism Mommas' animated visual support chart, there are only three simple steps to follow. These are getting a printout, laminating and cutting it. By making visual supports, activities like brushing, toilet training and hand washing can be more fun and less stressful for autistic children.

"Many autistic children are visual learners and it's very important to offer them some directions and guidelines through visual supports," Autism Mommas said in the video.
