Apple iOS 9.3.3 Update: Beta Version Launched To The Public; Jailbreak To Be Released May 30?

Apple has released a beta version of iOS 9.3.3 for public testing to those who are members of the tech giant's testing program. Just after the public release of the latest OS update, an Italian hacker reported he was able to successfully jailbreak iOS 9.3.3.

iOS 9.3.3 Beta For Public Testers

Members of Apple's Beta Software Program can now download and test iOS 9.3.3, except those who own a 9.7-inch iPad Pro, CNET reported. According to the report, the previous version, iOS 9.3.2, has bricked the device of some users and the latest update does not contain the fix for it yet. No specific details have been revealed as to what iOS 9.3.3 version brings, except that it contains bug fixes and performances improvements as per normal. Releasing the public beta version allows the company to detect glitches before the release of the official update.

iOS 9.3.3 Jailbreak

Luca Todesco, an Italian hacker, has found some exploits that allowed him to jailbreak the latest version of the iOS. Todesco posted a photo on Twitter showing an iPod 7 running on the jailbreak version of iOS 9.3.3 with Cydia jailbreak store installed. He captioned it, "plz send moar hate."

When someone asked him on Twitter about the ETA that the jailbreak version will be shared with the public, he said May 30. However, it turned out that he was just trolling the commenters because he said it would be for iOS 19. His bio says he does not release jailbreaks, just like when he was able to jailbreak earlier version of iOS 9.3.

Many are disappointed, of course, because despite the fact that jailbreaking tools are available for iOS 9.3.1 or 9.3.2, none has surfaced for the public use. Forbes said it may be that jailbreaking teams such as PanGu and TaiG may just skip the whole iOS 9 version, with rumors that iOS 10 is already in the works.
