Amber Heard, Johnny Depp Divorce Update: Court Issued Restraining Order Against "Pirates Of The Caribbean" Actor

Amber Heard has successfully secured a restraining order against husband Johnny Depp. Heard filed for divorce on Monday, following over a year of marriage with the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" actor. 

Physical And Verbal Abuse

Heard accused Depp of physically and verbally abusing her. As part of the evidence presented in trying to secure a restraining order from the court, Heard submitted a photograph showing her with a black eye, along with other telltale signs including broken bottles and pieces of glass on the floor.

Huffington Post reported that court documents presented in court by Heard's lawyers stated that Depp "violently attacked" his estranged wife in their apartment. Statement submitted by Heard stated that Johnny Depp became obsessive about something which was not true. He also became extremely angry.

Cellphone Throwing

It further alleged that Heard was physically assaulted by Johnny Depp. The latter apparently threw a cellphone at her "with extreme force." The force was strong enough to cause a bruise on her eye and cheek. Heard added that Depp continued to scream at her. He also pulled her hair and struck her violently.

It was also stated that a friend of Heard, Raquel Pennington, entered the apartment and after which, Depp picked up the bottle he was drinking from. He then swung it around and smashed almost everything in his path.

Johnny Depp Hostile And Angry

The Guardian reported that Amber Heard's statement also mentioned that Johnny Depp was hostile, angry and humiliating her. He would threaten to assault Heard if she would question his authority or come to disagree with him.

Amber Heard is asking for spousal support from Johnny Depp. According to Depp's lawyer, Heard is alleging abuse because she is trying to secure a "premature financial resolution. " His lawyer also said that Depp was not able to attend regarding the restraining order and he wasn't able to hear specific allegations of Amber against him.
