"Supernatural" Season 12 spoilers hint on the possibility that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will be facing against the Men of Letters in the upcoming season. According to Buddy TV, the show has been setting up the story about the Men of Letters for a while now but it has not yet fully explored its history on the series.

The twist in "Supernatural" Season 11 finale also showed Lady Toni, who is a member of the Men of Letters, receiving an order to take the Winchester brothers into custody. This can be taken as a hint that Season 12 will finally feature a fully detailed story about the Men of Letters and whether they will become the next villains in the show.

"Supernatural" Season 12 may also see Sam and Dean become rogue agents once they fully discover the truth about the Men of Letters. The publication notes that the Men of Letters have been observing the Winchester brothers for quite some time now.

Meanwhile, Bustle reports on big changes ahead for "Supernatural" Season 12. First off, when the show returns in Fall 2016, the series will no longer air every Wednesday; instead, the series will air every Thursday at 9 p.m. following "Legends of Tomorrow."

Aside from this, "Supernatural" Season 12 will have a change in its showrunners. Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb will be taking over Jeremy Carver as the show's new executive producers.
