Fans who were hoping to watch the second episode of AMC's "Preacher" on Sunday were undoubtedly disappointed to find that the airing of "See" has been moved to the following week. Still, the delay hasn't stopped fans from speculating on what could happen next in AMC's "Preacher" Episode 2!
What Is There To "See" In "Preacher" Episode 2?
In the pilot episode of AMC's "Preacher," the world was finally introduced to Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who is a troubled preacher with a dark past (via ComicBook). Although Jesse's past is already revealed to be filled with violence and that he is trying to put it behind him, it gets more difficult to move on when an abusive father threatens to hurt his own son, who had asked for Jesse's help. In addition to that, Jesse's trigger-happy ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) decides to show up and offer him a job. Oh, and there's those two mysterious men who appear outside of Jesse's church after Genesis possesses him.
The second episode of AMC's "Preacher" could finally reveal the identity of the two mysterious men, who have been following the string of exploding preachers all over the world. Fans of Garth Ennis' comic book series already know these could be Fiore and DeBlanc, the Adelphi angels commissioned to find Genesis.
What Will Happen To Cassidy?
In AMC's "Preacher" pilot, Jesse Custer and Cassidy (Joe Gilgun) both ended up in the same jail cell after an altercation with Donny at a bar. Although Jesse Custer makes bail, Cassidy was left in jail with no clear indication if he will ever get out. Will the people who are after him find Cassidy in Annville? Will Jesse Custer help Cassidy before it's too late?
AMC's "Preacher" was developed by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Sam Catlin. "See," the second episode of "Preacher," will air on AMC on June 5.
