Monster Gator Strolls Florida Golf Course

When you think that a monster gator can only be seen on big screens, you are definitely wrong. Golfers were totally shocked when they saw a monster gator, an incredibly huge alligator, went on a stroll in the Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Florida.

Charles Helms, while playing an ordinary Sunday game at Buffalo Creek Golf Course, was able to capture an awesome video of an enormously huge alligator that is casually strolling across the course as reported on Daily Mail.

The monster gator appeared even bigger when another person came into the frame to take a picture; however, the alligator is apparently quite a regular sight in that area as cited on Time. "People people have heard that he is out here and that is all they want to see so they will bring spectators to ride so somebody can get a picture," golf course employee Wendy Schofield said. "He doesn't bother anybody and they don't bother him, he's like a mascot for the course, which is owned by Manatee County," she added further.

Charles Helms was on the golf course with a friend when he suddenly noticed that the huge alligator was ambling over the green and toward the lake. The first thing he could think of was to capture the moment. So Helms began filming the huge alligator-which is estimated about fifteen feet long- and posted the video on his Facebook page last May 25. It garnered a large volume of views overnight.

Helms told ABC Action News about how stunned and silent he was while taking the video. "I didn't know if we were being punked or something...It was just laying down, resting, when it got up and started moving towards the big lake," Helms said. This is no longer a rare view. The huge alligator is actually a regular at the golf course.
