'Clash of Clans' News & Update: Recent Update Results In Excessive Notification; Optional Update Comes With Fixes And Improvements

Supercell recently released their its "Clash of Clans" update. Unfortunately, it didn't please all fans because it came with issues again. Supercell has a long history of deploying updates with bugs and the recent update was not different. However, according to news reports the team already addressed the "Clash of Clans" issue by releasing an optional update.

'Clash of Clans' May Update Has Issues

Supercell has never learned its lesson. The team received an intense backlash in their December "Clash of Clans" update for deploying updates with bugs. The same incident happened on their March "Clash of Clans" update and again on their recent update.

Parent Herald previously reported that the bugs or issues in every update are killing the fun in "Clash of Clans." Some gamers were very disappointed that they lost interest in playing the game because the bug issues have happened more than once already. Unfortunately, the "history repeats itself" mantra seemed to be true in every "Clash of Clans" update.

According to Neurogadget, the recent "Clash of Clans" updates results in an excessive notification. Yes, it was too much that it was already distracting to players. We can't tell if this is a bug or if Supercell intended this but it was too much that the "Clash of Clans" players complained about it.

Supercell Releases A 'Clash Of Clans' Optional Update To Fix The Issue

One of the great attitudes from Supercell is their immediate action when it comes to issues like this. According to the iDigital Times, the team already released an optional update to minimize the notification. It will limit the reminders to only show after every 12 hours.

Unfortunately, for those using an iOS device, Christian Times reported that the filtering is not available yet. However, the players can block all the notifications from the game but this includes notification about the troops and army if they are ready for battle.

Aside from the optional update, Supercell added the Baby Dragon troops in "Clash of Clans." There are also two new spells, the Clone Spell that can bring a wave of troops for a limited time and the Skeleton Spell that delivers skeletons on the battlefield.
