There have been a lot of rumors making rounds on the internet regarding Kody Brown looking for a new and younger wife. This time, words have it that he is in search of a fifth wife because he wants to cash in more from the "Sister Wives" and for TLC to renew the reality series. Meanwhile, the first wife Meri Brown is still dealing with the catfishing scandal and opens up in the show about how she got tangled in it.

Search For Fifth Wife

The more, the merrier, so they say. As if four wives are not yet enough, Kody Brown is reportedly looking for a younger fifth wife. Hollywood Life reported that according to sources, Kody has been searching for about a year already and he's looking for someone around 19 or 20, who is thin and attractive. Now that is going to add more drama to the show and would most likely shake things up to the already controversy-stricken polygamous family. Kody currently has four wives: Meri, 45; Janelle, 47; Christine, 44; and Robyn, 37. Meri is the first wife and the first Kody legally married. But Meri decided to divorce Kody last year so he could marry the fourth wife, Robyn, and be able to legally adopt Robyn's children.

How Meri Got Catfished

Meri Brown was caught up in a catfishing scandal, which broke out last year. She confessed that she had an affair with someone she knew as Sam Cooper. But apparently, the person she met online was not a man, but a woman and con-artist Jackie Overton. This season of "Sister Wives," Meri opens up and shares more details on what happened to her online affair.

In an exclusive clip shared by People, Meri said, "It sounded like a guy with a southern accent. We laughed a lot. It was easy to connect with him, just because there was so much in common. He was very, very flirty with me. And I have guy friends and I am a little bit flirty too.

Things escalated to the point that Sam told Meri that he loves her, but Meri said, "I'm married. I mean, nothing's happening."
