‘The Bachelor’ 2016 News & Updates: Ben Higgins, Lauren Bushnell Wedding Delayed?

"The Bachelor" 2016 Ben Higgins and Season 20 winner Lauren Bushnell may be putting their wedding on hold despite recent reports that the couple will be tying the knot this year. The 28-year-old reality star is reportedly considering running for a seat in the Colorado House of Representatives. Will his wedding with Bushnell still happen?

"The Bachelor" Season 20 couple Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell may be facing a lot of challenges ahead in their relationship. According to Entertainment Tonight, Higgins is "seriously considering" entering politics and running for a seat in the Colorado House of Representatives.

Higgins confirmed the aforementioned report, as he recently launched a website for his supporters. "The Bachelor" 2016 admitted that he still has not made a final decision, but he has always wanted to "work in charitable and humanitarian organizations" since he starred on the ABC dating show.

This led to speculations that "The Bachelor" 2016 Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell's wedding may be put on hold since running for a seat in the house of representatives will take up much of Higgins' time. This may ultimately drive a wedge between Higgins and Bushnell's relationship, as earlier reports claim that the couple has been fighting nonstop over "The Bachelorette" 2016 Jojo Fletcher.

"The Bachelor" Ben Higgins and Season 20 winner Lauren Bushnell are allegedly still not over the fact that the former confessed to her and Fletcher on the show, reports Inquisitr. Higgins and Fletcher allegedly remained in contact with each other after the final rose ceremony of the show.

Bushnell reportedly wants to call off her engagement to Higgins because of their issues with Fletcher. However, "The Bachelor" 2016 couple Bushnell and Higgins also recently announced that they are considering a televised wedding on ABC.

Will "The Bachelor" 2016 couple Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell tie the knot before Higgins runs for the House of Representatives or will they break up because of their alleged issues? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
