Tom Cruise Has Not Seen Daughter For Three Years

Parent Herald reported that Katie Holmes decided to divorce Tom Cruise for fear that she might lose her daughter, Suri to Scientology. Tom Cruise is an active and devoted Scientology member. The "Dawson's Creek" alum is afraid that engaging in the said religious rites might affect her relationship with her daughter.

The church of Scientology forbids their members from associating with non-believers, sources told Page Six. Suri and Katie Holmes are nonbelievers so Tom Cruise never reached out to them. The father and daughter have not seen each other for three years already. He last saw Suri when she was 7.

"If he wanted to see her, he could see her," one insider told the publication. "Even people in prison have a right to see their children."

According to the sources, Suri is living a normal life. She is admitted into a great school and has lots of friends. "This is his loss, his issue, his problem. He must be really brainwashed," the source added.

Tom Cruise Furious Over Katie Holmes Film

Meanwhile, speaking of Scientology, the Daily Beast reported that Holmes' new project is a "giant middle finger" to Tom Cruise's religion. In the said film, Katie Holmes plays the role of Carla, a published poet. She takes medicines, which got out of control and lead her into the hospital, where she met Marco (Luke Kirby), a fellow bipolar patient.

Tom cruise reacted to the psychiatric medicine because Scientology is against it. "You don't know the history of psychiatry," Tom Cruise said. "I do."

However, the American Psychiatric Association president Dr. Steven Sharfstein reacted with Cruise's comment. "It is irresponsible for Mr. Cruise to use his movie publicity tour to promote his own ideological views and deter people with mental illness from getting the care they need."
