Zombies and vampires have become a popular choice among TV shows and movies nowadays such as with "The Walking Dead" and "The Vampire Diaries." "No vampires, no zombies," he said. "We don't have any zombies."

Davis explained that "Teen Wolf" likes to delve on different kinds of mythologies, specifically those on "shape-shifters." Davis revealed that while the big bad for Season 6 is not within this type of mythology, but it is still within the "real mythology."

Davis also told Creative132 that talks about One Direction's Harry Styles joining "Teen Wolf" Season 6 are not fake at all. According to the showrunner, they are still in talks with Styles' management in hopes of getting him to play a role in the upcoming season.

While Davis expressed desire to get the "Perfect" singer into "Teen Wolf" Season 6, this does not mean that he will be replacing Dylan O'Brien. Davis also revealed that Season 6 may premiere in November and end in July 2017.
