"Teen Wolf" Season 5 finale featured a Nazi werewolf and rumors have it that "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will continue the trend by showing vampires in the upcoming season. Apart from this, the last season also showed the Dread Doctors, which triggers the rumors that the next season will have zombies.

MTV reported that "Teen Wolf" Season 6 might follow some of the twists and highlights from "The Walking Dead" and "The Vampire Diaries." Per MTV, the next "Teen Wolf" will feature zombies and vampires, who will serve as the new villains in the new season.

According to Jeff Davis, "Teen Wolf" is a TV series that highlights the different kinds of mythologies, specifically those related to shape-shifters. However, he teased that the new big bad in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 is not within the scope that fans have been accustomed to but will fall within a real mythology.

Dylan O'Brien To Return In 'Teen Wolf' Season 6

Meanwhile, as for the rumors that Dylan O'Brien is not returning to the show and will be replaced, Davis said otherwise. The "Teen Wolf" showrunner explained that the actor will remain as Stiles but can't film any stunts at the time.

"No, we aren't replacing Stiles. Dylan O'Brien will be back to film soon," Davis told Creative 132. In fact, they are negotiating with "The Maze Runner" producer Wes Ball to have O'Brien return in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. "He wants to film, he's in perfect condition. But he's just not doing fine enough to do any stunts,"
