'Persona 5' Release Date, News & Update: Gameplay And New Characters Revealed; Title Coming Out In The Valentines Of 2017

'Persona 5' Gameplay Update

Fans of the "Persona" series are eagerly waiting for the arrival of its fifth installment. According to reports, more details about "Persona 5" will be revealed at E3. Meanwhile, the title's new storyline has been unveiled.

Players of "Persona 5" will be maneuvering the characters in the game who will be known as the Phantom Thieves. Per Gematsu, the Phantom Thieves will be stealing the evil desires of the corrupted characters and reform them in the process.

So how will the Phantom Thieves achieve their goal in "Persona 5?" According to Ecumenical News, the players will have to travel to what is called as the Palaces, which comes in many forms like museums and castles. They can access this in the gameplay via the Isekai Navi. In the Palaces, the "Persona 5" players will discover the treasures that represent the evil desire of the corrupted individuals that they need to reform.

'Persona 5' New Characters

"Persona 5" introduces new characters in the gameplay including Igor, Caroline and Justine. Per TechnoBuffalo, Igor is an old man with a strange face. Igor imposes the "rehabilitation of freedom" and gives Isekai Navi to test if the protagonist can use his abilities to be released behind bars

Meanwhile, Caroline and Justine are twins who consider themselves the guards of the Velvet. They wear a solemn eye patch on one eye. Although they have the same physique, they have different attitudes in terms of punctuality and treatment to the protagonist.

"Persona 5" is expected to arrive on Feb. 14, 2017.
