Millionaire Family Travels All Over The World After Selling Belongings

Traveling all over the world with your family is a dream for many. A millionaire family of four has made this dream a reality as they have been traveling all over the world for nine months now, after selling most of their possessions and banking their millions.

The Gee family embarked on this adventure after Garret Gee, 25, sold his mobile scanning application to Snapchat last year for $54 million, reported Stuff. The family banked their earnings and sold off many belongings, getting $45,000 in the process.

From Utah To All Over The World

Besides Garret, the Gee family includes his wife, Jessica, 29 and their children Dorothy, 3 and Manilla, 1. They are from Utah in the United States.

Using the $45,000, this family, more known as the Bucket List Family on Instagram and Youtube, has gone on amazing trips and done some very cool stuff. Daily Mail reported that the Gee family has explored much of the Pacific Ocean and even swam with sperm whales and watched leatherback turtles lay eggs.

Travelling With Kids

According to Mirror, Jessica said that she and Garret had always loved to travel but how they travel has now changed because their children are with them. "When my husband and I would travel before we had children we could be as adventurous or risky and frugal as we wanted. We could sleep on a couch, or save money by staying in a sketchy part of town," she said.

Now, they put more money to ensure that they would be staying in safe places but added that it was worth spending more money as they explore new places together as one family. "Our kids make traveling more enjoyable and more rewarding and we're grateful for these memories we're gathering together," she said.
