"NCIS" Season 14 will be going through a major reset now that the show has lost one of its major characters, Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly). In a recent interview with TVLine, showrunner Gary Glasberg admitted that he is "super-eager" to smoothen out all the changes the show would have to go through next season.

Glasberg said that the reset will help bring "NCIS" Season 14 "back to the lightness and the mystery" that the show became known for. It is known that several new characters will be introduced in the series, including FBI agent Tess Monroe (Sarah Clarke) and Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry).

These two characters were already introduced in "NCIS" Season 13 shortly before Weatherly exited the series. It still remains to be seen whether these two will become series regulars or not.

Glasberg also hinted that "NCIS" Season 14 may see Fornell recuperate after being a near-casualty in the previous season. Glasberg shared that he is excited to see Fornell push himself and get frustrated with the process.

Meanwhile, News Everyday reports on the possible introduction of Ziva (Cote de Pablo) and Tony's daughter, Tali in "NCIS" Season 14. As most fans can recall, Tony decided to leave the team in order to focus on his parenting duties.

Tony also seemed optimistic that Ziva is still alive. "NCIS" Season 14 may ultimately shed more light on Ziva's situation and whether she and Tony can find their own happily ever after on the show.
