Thousands of fans are now excited for the upcoming release of "High School Musical 4" movie. While no details have been made public as of yet, rumor mill is spreading that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were seen filming already for the forthcoming installment.

GamenGuide reported that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are definitely coming back for "High School Musical 4" via a cameo role. Now, reports have it that the two former lovebirds have already been filming for the upcoming movie.

Though they are confirmed to reprise their roles in "High School Musical 4," it is quite unlikely for Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens to start filming for the movie since they are both busy with other showbiz commitments. Well, several members of the "High School Musical" fans club were even saddened when Ashley Tisdale confirmed that she will no longer be coming back.

Reports about Zac Efron returning for "High School Musical 4" have sparked when the "Baywatch" actor posted a throwback photo of him together with other previous co-stars on Instagram. "So grateful I came across this picture... With the o.g. crew during one of the most cherished and exciting times of my life. Love you guys forever.#fbf," Zac Efron wrote.

Meanwhile, Life & Style Weekly  have reported that the Instagram post of Zac Efron might have hinted that he is still in love with Vanessa Hudgens. It can be recalled that the "Neighbors" actor has previously reported that he hated being on the franchise, but it seems like he is still grateful for being a part of the Disney hit series.

Other news have also claimed that Zac Efron has been making silly calls to Vanessa Hudgens after he broke up with Sami Miro. According to reports, Zac Efron still has feelings for Vanessa Hudgens and he is trying to win her back.

"High School Musical 4" is slated to be released in 2017 with an all-new cast leading.
