iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2 News & Update: Apple Watch Price Cut Ahead Of Apple Watch 2 Release

Apple Watch 2 and iPhone 7 prices and impressive features have already been revealed. The leaked photos of iPhone 7 came from a Chinese repair shop Rock Fix, which is based in Ganzhou, revealing the smartphone will still sport a 3.5mm headphone jack on one of the photos. Meanwhile, Tim Cook, Apple CEO personally promised and assured fans that Apple Watch 2 is going to be the best wearable device saying the device is getting better and better.

Instead of relying on Bluetooth or Lightning for audio output, the latest upgrade from Apple allows users to enjoy it with standard earphones and headphones, says Design and Trend. The leaked photos from China showcased iPhone 7 features which include a memory chip of up to 256GB storage; another snap feature is what appears to be a dual-SIM tray and the dual-lens camera system on the back. The iPhone 7 photos were revealed after Foxconn employees took to Weibo to claim that the dual-lens camera setup was dismissed due to technical difficulties.

The watch will now be able to get directions via its GPS or act as a run tracker without the use of an iPhone. Apple Watch 2 also has another interesting feature: its 3G and 4G connectivity, allowing users to send messages, make calls, and browse the internet that users can do more without their iPhone device. The next-gen Watch will also support FaceTime as there will now be a front camera on the device.

The official release date and the official specs and features of the wearable gizmo are yet to be announced. Many are already excited and cannot stop guessing when it will hit the market, especially now that the Apple Watch Sport's price has been cut from $349 down to $299. Some fans also believe that the new Apple Watch 2 price will start at $299. However there are reports saying it might cost more than $349 and will come equipped with even better features. Apple Watch 2 is expected to be launched in the fall of 2016, alongside iPhone 7 (tentative price: $800-$900) and iOS 10 in the US, as per HNGN.
