'No Man’s Sky' Update: Sean Murray Reveals Legal Battle With Sky TV As Cause For Delay? Now Available For PC And PlayStation 4?

"No Man's Sky" has been secretly battling over its name for over three years with Sky TV. And with the court already ruled its decision, Hello Games co-founder Sean Murray, has the final say about the decision.

The name is such a big deal for Broadcaster Sky, a U.K. television broadcaster, who claims they own the word "Sky. Sean Murray admits on his tweets that this is the same company that made Microsoft changed its name to OneDrive and not SkyDrive. While Google had to give in to the somehow ridiculous claim of Sky TV, Hello Games and "No Man's Sky" have really something to be happy about as they have won the case.

Sean Murray happily tweeted that finally the "3 years of secret stupid legal nonsense is over" and that they can finally use "No Man's Sky" as its official game name.

"No Man's Sky" was supposed to be released last June 16 but was pushed back because of some unknown reasons. Now, it is clear why Hello Games had to push the date to August

If everything goes according to plan, players will be able to enjoy "No Man's Sky on August 9 for the PlaySation 4 and PC in the U.S. European players will also get their hands on the game the following day.

Murray, however, did claim that he learned a lot from the legal proceedings as he went to defend "No Man's Sky. Now, the co-founder knows more about this kind of legal proceedings than anyone.

A lot of fans of the game "No Man's Sky" also found the legal battle ridiculous as they said that no one can own the word "sky" as it is a generic word. Sky TV on the other hand, did not leave any comments regarding the matter.

As for the fans of the popular and one of the most anticipated games this year, "No Man's Sky" is now ready for pre-orders.
