‘Girl Meets World’ Season 3 Spoilers & Updates: Riley-Maya-Lucas Love Triangle Comes To An End

"Girl Meets World" Season 3 recently released a new promo for its upcoming episode titled "Girl Meets Triangle," reports Carter Matt. According to the publication, the said promo showed Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) going through a lot of changes.

Riley (Rowan Blanchard) points out in the "GMW" Season 3 promo that Maya is getting good grades and is behaving all the time. Maya also appeared to have shifted from her "rebel" persona to a much more mature and responsible student.

While the promo for the upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" Season 3 seemed to focus on Maya's journey through high school, it is a known fact that the Disney Channel series will end the longstanding love triangle in this episode. In "Girl Meets Triangle," fans are expecting to see Lucas (Peyton Meyer) choose between Maya or Riley and end the love triangle.

However, as The Young Folks points out, Maya did not seem to like Lucas as much as Riley did in "Girl Meets World." As most fans can recall, Maya chased down Uncle Josh (Uriah Shelton) in the previous seasons of the Disney series.

Now that Maya appears to be more focused on herself and her studies, does this mean she will give up on her feelings for Lucas? Uncle Josh is also expected to return in "GMW" Season 3, which led to speculations that he will play a vital role in helping Maya understand her feelings better.
