'Beauty And The Beast' Surprise: Disney's Enchanted Rose Is Real And You Can Actually Own One

Anyone who has seen Disney's 1991 "Beauty and the Beast" should be familiar with the Enchanted Rose. The flower is iconic to the animated story as Beast's fate is mystically tied to it. A company in Australia has a real version of the rose that even comes with the dome glass case container --- and yes, you can actually own one.

My Lasting Bouquet calls their "Beauty and the Beast" Enchanted Rose version A Lasting Bellé from its La Belle collection. The rose comes in six different colors and at least four types are already sold out. The red rose is still up for pre-order for $199.00. The store also offers a mini version in the same colors for $39.99. However, Bustle reports that this variation has a required number of orders for bulk purchases.

'Beauty and the Beast' Real Enchanted Rose For Display

The company states that it has fashioned the Enchanted Rose from "high quality hand preserved roses" and it's supposed to last for a year. There's no need to water the rose or expose it to direct sunlight, which makes it a perfect piece for displaying at home or in the office.

E! Online reports that the rose is real and soft to touch, but it has been treated so that it doesn't wilt. For any fan of "Beauty and the Beast," this should be a great gift. What Disney fan would not be thrilled to own a mystical rose?

'Beauty and the Beast' Enchanted Rose Mystery

In the story, Beast has to keep the rose protected in the glass dome because his life, as well as the lives of his servants who were turned into objects, depend on it. To keep the Enchanted Rose from wilting, Beast must find his true love, lest he remains a beast forever.

The Enchanted Rose from "Beauty and the Beast" can be seen in the teaser of the live-action movie featuring Emma Watson, per Parent Herald. Watch Belle in the "Beauty and the Beast" animation as she attempts to touch the Enchanted Rose and the Beast scolds her for it in this video below:
