'Quantico' Season 2 Spoilers: Explosive New Run Will Be Bigger!

Recent "Quantico" season 2 spoilers are suggesting that the upcoming run of the Priyanka Chopra headliner will give fans a different rush compared with the previous season.

"Quantico" showrunner Josh Safran has been really generous when it comes to sharing details about the new season, and he has repeatedly hinted that something great is bound to happen when Alex Parrish joins the CIA after her FBI stint. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Safran claimed that "The event in season 2 is probably even bigger than season 1 on some level ... But while it is bigger, it's also more contained. It allows us to feel more rooted every time we travel from one timeline to another."

"Again, if season 1 was sort of The Fugitive, season 2 has another blockbuster in mind," he added.

Safran previously said that a lot of answers about Alex's past will be answered in the upcoming run. The showrunner also hinted that a shocking twist will most likely to unfold in the first few episodes of "Quantico" season 2.

“We’re very interested in the fact that the FBI’s so much about being honest, truthful and living up to your badge,” he told TV Line, “and the CIA is the opposite. You succeed if you can deceive. So it’s going to be interesting to see. It’s like a funhouse mirror of what we’ve seen.”

Previous "Quantico" season 2 spoilers have already hinted that a new female lead will be casted to replace Alex Parrish in the FBI.

Although it's still unknown whether the new character will be a friend or a foe, sources are suggesting that the new role will be a crucial one in "Quantico" season 2.

According to Vine Report, execs are looking to cast an African-American female in her late 20s to portray a character named Lydia, a "sharp and sexy prodigy who will do whatever it takes to get what she wants in the field."

The character is said to be a "Jessica Jones by night, Jessica Chastain in 'Zero Dark Thirty' by day."
