The fire of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" is not ebbing away. The demise of Sgt. Mike Dodds in the series has brought forth unprecedented queries. Also, viewers are expecting that Christopher Meloni would fill the void that Dodds has left behind.

Olivia Benson would have to face a lot in the next episodes of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit." With the fallout from grace by Dodds, viewers are hoping that the series would press on with more fervor.

Given the gravity of the situation, Christopher Meloni has been rumored to take back his pace in the series when "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" returns. However, regardless of the rising claims and demands by the viewers, Meloni has bluntly responded that he would not render an appearance at all.

He was even surprised that he heard the rumors about him going back to the "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" series, reports Christian Today. To prove the latter, Meloni said, "I heard that rumor along with everybody else. I have no idea where that came from or what that was about."

He even rebutted that there were no communications bouncing back and forth between him and NBC, the showrunners behind the epic series, "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit." Although there are rising inclinations that one of the producers of the series has deemed it fitting for Meloni to return that remains unverified as well.

Ecumenical News also mentioned that tensions are anticipated to arise if ever one of Olivia Benson's pal returns on "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit." Also, in regards to the storyline, there were no affirmations that the series would progress with Meloni and Olivia getting back on each other's arms.
