Entertainment Weekly reports that Lyndie Greenwood, who plays Abbie Mills' sister Jenny, defined the unique connection between the character of Nicole Beharie and Ichabod Crane. Lyndie Greenwood verbalized the extraordinary chemistry between Abbie Mills and Ichabod Crane that was made special because "Sleepy Hollow" maintained the natural subtlety between them

"And I love that these two characters have a platonic relationship that goes so well, and they have so much to do and so much love for each other without having a romantic relationship," Lyndie Greenwood said of Abbie Mills and Ichabod Crane. "I think that's really unique; I just think that them as friends really warms my heart."

According to Parent Herald, Tom Mison stated that work for Ichabod Crane on "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 begins in July. "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 appears to be on track as a separate TVLine story announced that Tom Mison and "SH" will be skipping the 2016 San Deigo Comic Con this July much as they did in 2015.
