The upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 is coming very soon. And with its release comes great features that fans of Apple will love.

MacBook Pro 2016 USB Type-C

As reported by Forbes, the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will have a USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 3 connectors. ABI research reported that this USB-C connector will be the preferred port and will be visible to 93 percent of all laptops by 2020.

The USB-C port follows mostly the design of MacBook Pro 2016 as Apple creates thin computers. Since everything is going thin these days, it is likely that the connector will also be the same.

Thunderbolt 3 for the New MacBook Pro

Recent MacBook Pros have the Thunderbolt 2/Mini DisplayPort Connector. But with the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016, the new laptop will come with Thunderbolt 3. The new upgrade will double the bandwidth over its previous models.

Thunderbolt 3 can work at the same time with two external 4K displays at 60 Hz. It can also work simultaneously with 4K display at 120 Hz. The new MacBook Pro 2016 will also support 5K display as reported.

OLED functions

The MacBook Pro 2016 will also have an OLED touch bar that will replace the physical function keys. This new feature will also be contextual with the buttons changing.

Touch ID

According to 9to5Mac, the new MacBook Pro 2016 will feature a Touch ID button. This is the same function the Apple uses for its new iPhone lineup that they will eventually use for the new MacBook Pro.

The new MacBook Pro 2016 will also introduce its biometric security that will allow users to make payments using Apple Pay with the use of their MacBook Pro. A simple authentication via their iPhone or Apple Watch will do and users can transact and buy items using their MacBook Pro 2016.

The MacBook Pro 2016 will be released this Fall as soon as MacBook Air is also released.
