'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 50 Recap: Goku Black Has The Ring Of Time, While Future Mai Is Still Alive; Plus Episode 51 Preview (LINK)

Anime series sensation "Dragon Ball Super" episode 50 has just concluded, yet excitement is growing over the prospect of the future Mai being alive. Also, Goku Black and Son Goku's long-awaited battle drew fans' attention in "Goku vs Black! The Road Towards The Future Is Sealed!".

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 50 Recap

In a recap featured on Sportsrageous, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 50 kicks off with Goku Black appearing in the sky just as Son Goku and the others prepare themselves going into the future. As both fighters braced themselves, Son Goku went into Super Saiyan 2 while Goku Black drew strength.

Before the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 50 battle began, Whis and Beerus already noticed Goku Black wearing the Ring of Time and knew that something wasn't right. They also told everyone else present that Kaioshins were the only ones able to use the said ring. Beerus also responded to Krillin's question on whether or not Goku Black had turned into a Kaioshin.

While Beerus said that Goku Black could not have been a Kaioshin even though he resembled Son Goku, Son Goku also asked Goku Black as to why they looked the same. Goku Black's quick answer? "I also wanted to fight you in this body," in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 50.

So it seems that in the recently concluded "Dragon Ball Super" episode 50, a new nemesis may have been using the Ring of Time as an evil version of Son Goku or he could have actually come from the future timeline. Goku Black also saw and destroyed the time machine that was used by Future Trunks before the former got pulled black into an opened black-hole portal in the sky, leaving the heroes feeling helpless on what to do next, according to Dragonball Time.

In the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 50 video, Future Trunks further asked Beerus (a God that he is) if he can use his Ring of Time. However, Beerus stated that only Kaioshins can have and use the ring.

On the other hand, Bulma was able to find another time machine. With its help, everyone is filled with new hope for the future timeline to be saved and that Son Goku's battle with Goku Black can be finalized. Meanwhile, Future Mai was seen lying helpless on the ground as "Dragon Ball Super" episode 50 was about to end.

As everyone comes to her rescue, Son Goku fears for Future Mai's life as his battle with Goku Black hasn't finished yet. A snippet of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 51 was also previewed, which is set to air on July 10.
