'The Blacklist' Season 4 Release Date, News & Update: James Spader's Red Reddington Betrayal Fallout To Hit Post Office?

Months ahead of "The Blacklist" Season 4 premiere, the mill is abuzz over development between Megan Boone as Liz Keen and "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" actor James Spader as Red Reddington. However, Liz Keen and Red Reddington may have unwittingly created a fallout on the Post Office team with "The Blacklist" Season 3 shockers.

As reported by Parent Herald, FBI and Post Office team asset Red Reddington is on shaky ground at "The Blacklist" Season 4 premiere from the shock of betrayal by Liz Keen with the help of Mr Kaplan (Susan Blommaert). After finding out that Liz Keen faked her death in "The Blacklist" Season 3, Red Reddington is forced into a paradigm shift over his purpose.

Citing creator Jon Bokenkamp The Wall Street Journal reports that "The Blacklist" Season 3 events will bring closer focus on the Post Office team, who were caught in the struggle between Liz Keen and Red Reddington. According to Jon Bokenkamp, despite the resulting hype for Liz Keen and Red Reddington, he considers the Post Office team development the true success of "The Blacklist" Season 3.

Most interesting to see is how "The Blacklist" Season 4 will affect the partnership of Red Reddington with the Post Office team's Mossad agent Samar Navabi (Mozhan Marnò). Will Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Aram Mojtabai (Amir Arison) face new challenges in "The Blacklist" Season 4 with the Post Office task force missions after the breakdown between Liz Keen and Red Reddington?

Jon Bokenkamp also hinted that Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) may continue going darker in "The Blacklist" Season 4. Meanwhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry points out that Liz Keen needs Red Reddington to be able to escape Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen), who was revealed to be Constantine Rostova in "The Blacklist" Season 3.

Still, Entertainment Weekly cites Megan Boone in saying that Liz Keen has lost any semblance of faith in Red Reddington as "The Blacklist" Season 4 will show. Rather than run back to Red Reddington for help, Liz Keen will reportedly look for new alliances.

"The Blacklist" Season 4 premiere will be aired on NBC this fall. For Liz Keen, Red Reddington and the Post Office team, "The Blacklist" Season 4 will be a whole new world.
