Apple to Release 4 New Apps/Sticker Packs: But You Can't Use Them Just Yet, Here's Why

However, there are those who argue that the most useful applications are the ones released by Apple themselves and here is why you should care about those applications as well.

If you are the type of person that frequently uses the iMessage functionality to communicate with friends and family, then you would be glad to know that these "apps" are more of sticker packs that you can use on iMessage. You can use these to perfectly convey your emotions and add a bit of extra flare into every conversation. These apps turned sticker packs contain smileys, hearts, and hands of different kinds.

Another huge selling point of these sticker apps is the fact that they feature some "throwback" stickers depicting old Macintosh hardware as well as software icons. There is a big chance that many fans of the Macintosh computer and of the Apple brand in general last saw these designs way back in the 1990s. The 90s kids will definitely get a kick out of these.

However, there seems to always be a catch according to a report from the Washington Post. While these news proved to be exciting to most fans of Apple, they were deeply saddened to find out that they would only be available for those who had upgraded their phone's system software to iOS 10 or higher. And if you follow things Apple, you would know that this OS is currently only available to developers and beta testers, not the general public. Luckily, Tech Radar reports that iOS 10 will be available for public beta sometime in July 2016.
