2-Year Old Girl Who Threw A Tantrum In The Parliament Finally Meets Harjit Sajjan

A two-year old girl wanted to see Defence Ministry Harjit Sajjan during the Canada Day Celebrations but he was in Vancouver so the little girl threw a tantrum. Sophia Popalyar, the young girl, was invited to come to the Parliament and finally met Sajjan a few days later. She was given a tour in the Parliament by Sajjan himself.

CBC reported that the minister explained to his young fan the job of a Speaker and compared it to being a principal while the little girl pressed buttons on the motor-powered chair. "He hands her several gifts including a miniature hockey stick, they fist bump, and Sajjan concludes by saying he expects the politically astute toddler will be imparting her wisdom very soon." Says CBC.

Sophia's father was overwhelmed to witness the little girl's dream coming true right before his eyes. He took videos and now most of these have gone viral already. It can be remembered that Sophia's dad posted the little girl's video crying while saying that she is going to the Parliament to see just one person, Harjit Sajjan.

Sajjan posted on his twitter account about the incredible experience with his youngest supporter: "I met my new friend Sophia today. When she grows up, she wants to be Prime Minister. I bet she will." What a great dream for a 2-year old girl and what a great heart from a Defence Minister. Netizens are now getting more interested of Sophia. Sajjan on the other hand gets whistling and clapping from the crowd for being so simple and humble to reach out to the young girl.

Sophia at her so young age has started her roadmap towards her dream to be a national minister. Canada, America, and the whole world is now reading and watching about her. Long way for this little girl but who knows.
