KD 7 'Floral' Release Date & Price: Where to Buy?

Kevin Durant, in collaboration with Nike, has released another floral designed shoe, the KD 7 "Floral." Durant seems to be keeping up with tradition as the shoes are reminiscent of last year's Aunt-Pearl- inspired pair, comments Sneaker Politics. 

The shoe will be released on February 12, 2015 on Nike.com/sportswear and select Nike Sportwear retailers worldwide for $200, says Nike.com. Sneaker Bar Detroit adds that the shoes can also be found on Rock City Kicks and Sneaker Politics.  

Sneaker News also suggests looking on Ebay. However, the KD 7 "Floral" costs more on Ebay with prices ranging from $240 to upwards of $300. Latino Post notes, though, that Durant's KD 7 is currently the cheapest pair of shoes in the Nike lineup compared to the brand's Jordan and Lebron basketball shoes. 

It is interesting to note that there is a limit of only one pair per customer, as seen on Nike.com. This is probably to prevent people from buying out stocks of the sneakers and then selling them for a higher price. Although it already seems to be happening on Ebay. 

The KD VII EXT QS has a satin upper featuring a beautiful botanical print. Sneaker News says that the flora and fauna on the KD 7 'Floral' are bigger, presumably compared to other Kevin Durant shoes. There are various roses displayed throughout the satin upper, along with other flowers. According to Latino Post, each pair of the KD 7 will feature a different floral pattern.  

The official colors of the shoe, according to Nike.com, are Midnight Navy and Black -Hazelnut. The base color of the shoe is blue with matching blue laces. While the tongue, the interior lining, and the forefoot strap of the shoe are rich brown. In addition, Sneaker News reports that these parts are made of suede and leather. 

The letters "KD" can be seen on the tongue of the shoe. There are also certain patterns found on the brown straps of the sneakers. 

The pattern or backdrop of the shoe is uninterrupted due to the TPU swoop at the front of the shoe. Sneaker Bar Detroit states that the out sole is a translucent icy blue. Meanwhile, the midsole is pure white with the label 'Zoom" at the heel.  

Nike.com states that the rose pattern of the shoe symbolizes KD's brand rising above challenges to become MVP.
