Netflix happily announced the return of "Longmire" Season 5 this coming September 23 and fans do not have to wait per episode each week since Netflix will release all episodes at the same time. Production has already been done and even the cast and crew for the show posted some photos of their last day filming "Longmire" Season 5.

After "Longmire's" cancellation on A&E during its season, rumors have circulated that "Longmire" Season 5 will not even see the light of day. Thanks to Netflix, "Longmire" Season 4 was even created. Now, fans are really excited to see the upcoming fifth season.

'Longmire' Season 5 may be its Last

Reports that "Longmire" Season 5 will be the last season for the show has surfaced online. However, Netflix has not confirmed any reports yet about Season 6. Although, there will be an upcoming new trailer of "Longmire" Season 5 that will come out this summer.

The fifth season of "Longmire" will also probably see new plots and if there is a probability of a love sparking between Longmire and Moretti or with Walt and Vic. Although Longmire and Moretti may not come to happen because of the big age difference.

'Longmire' Season 5 Annual Fan Event

To help with the promotion of "Longmire" Season 5, the cast of "Longmire" joined the Annual Longmire Days that was held in Buffalo, Wyoming. Fans were able to meet and talk with the cast and crew of "Longmire."

July 8 was a great day for "Longmire" fans according to Master Herald. The cast of "Longmire" Season 5 had a late-night jam with their fans. This was also followed by autograph signing and a "Longmire" episode screening at the Buffalo Theater.
