Dallas Shoot Out Aftermath: Homeless Dallas Woman Weeps at the Remains of the Fallen Officers, Here's Why

Djuana Franklin caught the attention of the crowd when she bent down to the memorial of the fallen officers and wept helplessly. She is one of the people who was touched by the loving service of the officers who died during the killings at Dallas in July 9.

CNN reports that Franklin's gesture communicated the kind of service that the officer had when they were still alive. The 44-year-old black woman wailed at the police cars that turned as the memorial made her placeher hands and knees on the ground for several minutes. Some people came to comfort her. It was such a touching moment for many.

Franklin was extremely moved by the passing of the officers because of her experience of getting assistance from her challenging life in the streets especially as she recalls the time that she was raped. She said that the some of these officers helped her by bringing her to the hospital when the rape incident happened and they offered her relief when she was homeless and very poor. "I will miss the love that I had from the officers and the public servants [who] did save me when I was raped," she says with her sobbing face.

The lives of the police officers are  inspaniration to many. Many will be missing them because of what they have imparted to the different communities. Nonetheless, their memory of good service to the people will always be remembered and honored.

The five slain officer's identified on Friday as per CNN were:

1. Dallas Police Officers Lorne Ahrens, a 14-year veteran of the department,

2. Michael Smith, a 27-year veteran,

3. Dallas officer Michael Krol

4. Dallas officer Patrick Zamarripa

5. DART Police officer Brent Thompson.

Franklin still believes that there are great police officers left who will continue the kind and humble service same as the ones who have left already. She is one of the thousands of grateful people who are mourning up to this day and they all pray for justice and peace for the family.
