"Sherlock Season 4" teases a showdown between Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott) through a crew shirt shared by "Dr Who" director Rachel Talalay. Although "Sherlock Season 4" was presumed to debut the third Holmes brother, Benedict Cumberbatch and pal Martin Freeman (as John Watson) appear to be in for a Jim Moriarty return instead.

According to Den Of Geek Rachel Talalay, who directs "Sherlock Season 4" Episode 1 went on social media to share a "Bloodhound" and "Shark" photo. "Bloodhound" in the "Sherlock Season 4" crew shirt likely pertains to Benedict Cumberbatch as Holmes.

More interesting, however, is the "Shark" in "Sherlock Season 4" crew shirt. In "Sherlock"canon, Jim Moriarty is actually nicknamed "The Shark."

Given report by Wales Online that Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman filmed "Sherlock Season 4" scenes on St Chatherine's Island where the Moriarty flag was also spotted, Rachel Talalay's post makes sense. indeed involve Jim Moriarty, ("Shark") will haunt Holmes (Bloodhound) on "Sherlock Season 4" once more.

Digital Spy notes that Benedict Cumberbatch gave Holmes an uncharacteristic rough look in a "Sherlock Season 4" promo photo. Only one person has pushed Holmes to such edge as Benedict Cumberbatch depicts in the "Sherlock Season 4" tease and that is Jim Moriarty.

Parent Herald cites that "Sherlock Season 4" has tragedy in store for Holmes and John Watson. Co-writers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss jointly said that terror is in the offing in "Sherlock Season 4."

Jim Moriarty could be present in "Sherlock Season 4" as early as Episode 1, which Rachel Talalay helms. Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss may also be reserving a Holmes and Jim Moriarty face off for later episodes in "Sherlock Season 4."
