‘Married At First Sight’ Season 3 News & Updates: Weeks After Confirming Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis Are Expecting First Child, Couple Announced They Have Suffered a Miscarriage

It is a sad and heartbreaking day for "Married At First Sight" season one stars Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis as they have announced that they have suffered a miscarriage. The tragic news came just a week after the "Married At First Sight" couple has confirmed the reports that they are pregnant.

Hollywood Life reported that Otis was carrying a baby boy in her tummy. The "Married At First Sight" couple's revelation about the miscarriage was announced on July 13 on Instagram. She is said to be four months along when they lost the baby. 30-year-old Otis and 35-year-old Hehner were expecting their baby to arrive this December.

Otis posted a snap of a photo bearing the words "An Angel opened up the book of life and wrote down my baby's birth. Then she whispered as she closed the book, 'He's too beautiful for Earth.'" In the caption, "Married At First Sight" star Jamie shared that she loves her son so much and always will. She added that she cannot wait to meet him in heaven one day. Otis ended her caption asking her Instagram followers to pray for her and her husband.

The announcement came after Otis took to Instagram to post a photo of her and Hehner at the OB Gyne getting an ultrasound. She wrote alongside the sweet snap, "I would like to think I thought of the most genius way to tell Doug we are pregnant!" The "Married At First Sight" star added that she has lined up three surprises for Hehner and she has blogged about it for her fans and followers to know more about.

The "Married At First Sight" couple were interviewed last week and they shared that they cannot wait to start the new chapter of their lives. Otis said that being a mother has been her dream while Hehner said that now that they are pregnant, they are truly starting their lives together and that it is an icing on the cake for them to be starting their family.

It is unclear if they are planning to try and have a child anytime soon.
