"Girl Meets World" Season 3 spoilers reveal that the ratings for the show continue to drop throughout this season. According to TV by the Numbers, the show fell three tenths in its ratings after going on a short break.

The publication notes that "GMW" Season 3 scored a 0.3 in the 18-49 rating, as compared to its previous ratings of 0.6. There have been speculations that the drop in the show's ratings are due to the fact that the series has not yet given the expected resolution of the Lucas (Peyton Meyer) - Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) "Lucaya" or Lucas - Riley (Rowan Blanchard) "Rucas" love triangle.

There have also been rumors that Disney Channel may cancel "Girl Meets World" after Season 3 if it fails to deliver in the ratings. Many fans appear to be supportive of the idea because several viewers previously signed a petition to move the show to Freeform in order to explore mature storylines.

Meanwhile, a tweet from the "Girl Meets World" Season 3 writers tease that the love triangle will be resolved in the episode titled "Girl Meets Ski Lodge." It is also believed that Uncle Josh (Uriah Shelton) will be returning during the said episode.

Many fans believed that Josh's return in "Girl Meets World" Season 3 will help make things clear for Maya. With the way things are going on the show so far, it appears that the Maya-Lucas 'ship is unlikely happening.
