Is Blake Griffin Really Joining Cleveland Cavaliers?

Another NBA team reportedly wanting to get Griffin on their team is the Boston Celtics. Los Angeles Clippers reportedly is willing to move Griffin but only if the deal is right.

It remains unclear who will Griffin be joining but accordingly, talks have transpired. It is possible that the deal is good with Cleveland Cavaliers as Griffin is being seen as a great addition to the team to complete the Big Three and play alongside their best players, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

Why is Blake Griffin the Center of NBA Rumors now?

Griffin scored well for his team last season. He ended up averaging 21.4 points, 4.9 assists, and 8.4 rebounds per game. His numbers are expected to increase even more if he would play with Irving and James for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Griffin is capable of scoring a lot and can rebound quite well.

However, last season, he did miss most of the games since he suffered from a leg injury leading to his suspension.

Chicago Bulls Also Want Blake Griffin

As for Griffin possibly being part of Chicago Bulls, rumors have been surfacing saying that the NBA team wants to trade Gibson and Mirotic to the Los Angeles Clippers for Griffin, a power forward. Chicago Bulls recently acquired Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo.

Chicago Bulls Coach Fred Hoiberg said in a statement, "Great players always figure it out. It has to be about one thing, and that's winning. Based on who has the hot hand on any given night, you play through that guy, and the rest of the team plays off him."

Whether or not Griffin will be traded this season or remain as part of the Los Angeles Clippers, he will become one of the top free agents next season.
