‘South Park’ Season 20 Latest News & Updates: ‘South Park: The Fractured But Whole’ To Take Down ‘Pokémon Go’ Craze?

In less than two months, "South Park" season 20 will be bringing back the whole gang including Stan, Cartman, Kenny and Kyle on TV for another installment of Comedy Central's hit adult animated series. But aside from its brand new season, the series' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are set to amplify fans' "South Park" experience by releasing its latest video game titled, "South Park: The Fractured But Whole."

Even though "South Park" season 20 will be another short season as it won't be divided into fall and spring midseason premiere, fans still have more reasons to be excited. Aside from having a new format, the series' 2014 video game "South: Stick of Truth" will be having an interesting sequel called, "South Park: The Fractured But Whole," which is set for release this holiday season.

'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' Is Filled With Surprises

According to avid "South Park" fan Jason Schreier of Kotaku, "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" is "full of unexpected turns and clever gags." In his article, he also outlined his experiences in playing the brief demo at a PlayStation event in New York City last week.

"Like 'Stick of Truth' before it, 'The Fractured But Whole' takes the simple premise of children playing pretend and milks it in all the best ways, not just through puerile gags but by offering satirical takes on Marvel, video game tropes, and childhood naivety," Schreier wrote.
