'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Delayed

Parent Herald reported that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will be delayed, following the controversial post where the production announced that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will be 30 minutes longer.

"There you go- the wait for season 3 is now 30 mins longer! Back to work for us," @RickandMorty wrote. Per the report, many believe that the post means that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is pushed back and will start in August.

"Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon has finally spoken up to clarify the rumors suggesting that "Rick and Morty" season 3 is delayed. Harmon announced that yes, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is not airing this month and it is unlikely to return in August neither.

"That I can squash. I don't see any parallel universe where August is a possibility," Harmon told Paste Magazine. "We're a while from being able to give a hard date. Part of that is just that we're still figuring it out as we work over here... And the other part of it is that it's not our right to say because the network has their own strategies."

'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Plot Features An Evil Morty And Fake Rick

Per Movie News, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will feature Rick behind bars in a galactic prison. Morty will try to find him and he will come across with a fake Rick. Morty thought that he is with Rick and will spend some time with him until an evil Morty appears to kidnap the real Rick as his hostage.

Aside from this, there's a possibility that "Rick and Morty" season 3 will feature the "Interdimensional Cable." Harmon told Collider that he will push for it.
