‘Star Wars Battlefront:’ Is it Getting Rogue One DLC? Will ‘The Force Awakens’ Not Be Included?

"Star Wars Battlefront" is now on another plane! It is getting Rogue One tie-in DLC. What does this mean? It means that the game will now feature the tropical planet of Scarif. To add to that, there will be Rogue One characters Jyn Erso and Director Orson Krennic added to it.

"Star Wars Battlefront" is a dream come true for all that Star War dreamers. The players will live out their fantasies on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The players can engage in battles posing as some of the iconic characters from the movies.

Unfortunately, the "Star Wars Battlefront" will only focus on the original trilogy of movies. This means that the most recent movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, would not be featured in the game.

The closest experience that the gamers can get of the "The Force Awakens" is the Battle of Jakku DLC in the "Star Wars Battlefront."

 What will the next step in 'Star Wars Battlefront?'

The ray of hope that the players have is that although "The Force Awakens" may not be a part of the game, the next Star Wars movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will be added to "Star Wars Battlefront" as DLC.

Niklas Fegraeus, the "Star Wars Battlefront" design director, revealed during the Star Wars Celebrations event that "Rogue One: Scarif" will be the game's fourth and final expansion. This game will allow players to the tropical planet of Scarif. The game will feature the lead character Jyn Erso (played by Felicity Jones) and Director Orson Krennic (played by Ben Mendelsohn.)

The release date for "Rogue One: Scarif" is not yet confirmed. However, the movie " Rogue One" will be released in movie theaters during the Christmas season. So, it is expected that the DLC will launch around the same time.

The "Rogue One DLC" is awaited by fans who feel it is perfect for the "Star Wars Battlefront" series.
