While fans enjoy watching "Rick and Morty's" antiques as they spoof other movies, it seems easy to conclude that viewers will be able to see Rick and Morty doing the same antiques on their third season. During the season 2 of "Rick and Morty" Adult Swim introduced intertwined plots and references to previous episodes.

For the next 21 episodes of "Rick and Morty" Season 2, it was easily seen that on the finale more chaos will unfold as Earth now becomes a member of the federation and that now Rick is imprisoned. So, what becomes of "Rick and Morty" Season 3?

As viewers wait for "Rick and Morty" Season 3, reports are claiming that it was not Rick who got imprisoned but another Rick from another universe. Morning Ledger is also asking that may be Mr. Poopybutthole is not a new character but probably a crossoverver persona from one of the multiverse.

The real Morty will travel with the fake Rick while the real Rick from prison becomes a gang leader. Evil Morty will also return in "Rick and Morty" Season 3.

'Rick and Morty' to Come Back Early Next Year?

While most fans are hoping to see Rick and Morty as soon as possible but it seems that Adult Swim want to hold on to their adult cartoon a bit longer. Reports are suggesting that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will come back on the first quarter of 2017. However, on its IMDB page, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is set to release on 2016.

According to a report from Parent Herald, there is a big possibility that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will be aired on 2016 as its IMDB page is scheduled for 2016. "Rick and Morty Season 3 episode 1 still does not have a scheduled date but its episode 2 to episode 10 is scheduled for this year. Episode 11 to 14 are still left blank.
