Chelsea Clinton Defends Mother Hillary Clinton After Republicans Brand Her As 'Lucifer' At GOP Convention
Chelsea Clinton is lashing back at her mom's political opponents. The daughter of Hillary Clinton has finally spoken up to defend her mother, after Republicans called Hillary Clinton "Lucifer" during the GOP convention.
In an email sent out to the press, Chelsea Clinton slammed the Republicans for maligning her mother during the party's national convention, which was held last July 18 to 21 in Cleveland. She expressed disgust at the attacks on Hillary Clinton, citing that her mother is actually "compassionate, kind, and hardworking," per the Washington Examiner.

Chelsea Clinton also stated that the Republicans uttered words about Hillary Clinton that she would never even say to her own kids, let alone on television, where other children could be watching. Per The Improper, it was Ben Carson who alluded that Hillary Clinton is Lucifer.
Other Republicans also urged each other to chant "lock her up!" at the convention. Many believe Hillary Clinton should be in prison for mishandling the Benghazi terrorist attack while she was Secretary of State in 2012, as Parent Herald previously reported.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton is set to be officially declared as the Democratic Party's candidate next week and Chelsea Clinton has all intentions to boost her mom. She's starting this by posting photos on social media featuring herself as a kid with her mom. She describes Hillary Clinton as "my hero for my whole life," per Pop Sugar.

Chelsea Clinton grew up already exposed to politics. "I don't remember a time when she wasn't being attacked by people who didn't want to see her succeed," she told Entertainment Weekly about Hillary Clinton back in May. But she knows her mother is a fighter. "I know my mom can take care of herself," adding that she's always "in awe of her strength and her grace, her resilience."
