Despite "Limitless" success, CBS did not include it in their 2016-2017 lineup. However, the network did not announce any cancellation but explained that they are discussing with other networks for the future of "Limitless."

Thus, "Limitless" fans were shocked when the show creator, Craig Sweeny confirmed that there will be no more "Limitless" Season 2. "I'm truly sad to report that #Limitless will not continue on any platform. Thanks so much to everyone who watched," he tweeted.

In view of this, "Limitless" fan took action and opened a petition at Care2 Petitions calling out every "Limitless" fans to support it so that the network will renew their favorite TV series, Cross Map reported.

The target of the petition is for the network to produce "Limitless" Season 2. "They should sign this because limitless it a great TV show that needs to be renewed," the petition said.

At the time, over 5,100 supporters have signed the petition. Most supporters believe that "Limitless" is the best show they have watched and can't wait for the second season.

For those who missed the first season of "Limitless," you can watch it on Netflix. "Limitless" Season 2 is still unconfirmed but there are rumors that if the first season works out, it might be renewed.
