Adam And Kono Have To Work Out On Their Marriage In 'Hawaii Five-O' Season 7

"Hawaii Five-O" creator Peter M. Lenkov teases that Kono and Adam's marriage will be tested in "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7. In the previous season, Adam surrendered himself to the police for murdering the two men whom Goro Shioma (Akira Hirayama) ordered him to kidnap.

With Adam's effort to protect Gabriel (Christopher Sean), he puts his marriage with Kono at risk. Adam will be free in "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7 and he has to exert efforts to have his marriage with Kono work again.

"These two people have to get to know each other again," EP Peter M. Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly. "Some of that erodes when there's distance. Especially being in prison, your mind starts to wander and you start to question things."

Despite Adam and Kono's marital indifference, the "Hawaii Five-O" EP notes that Kono and Adam are sharing a healthy relationship. However, the couple needs to get to know each other again. This will not be too much of a struggle for Adam because his wife still trusts him.
